SCSD was founded in 2007 by Carla Coleman and Lori Fowler. Their combined experience in the areas of rescue dogs, service dogs, persons with physical disabilities, non-profit organizations, and community networking have created a solid foundation for SCSD.

2nd Chance Service Dogs places highly skilled and socialized dogs with people who have physical disabilities within the greater Dane Co. area. If you are interested in obtaining a Second Chance dog, please fill out and return the application.

At the present time, we do not have any dogs ready to be placed that are looking for recipients. Please email us prior to filling out an application so that we can discuss your personal situation with you and determine of we might have a dog in the future that could fill your needs. We will be happy to do this prior to your application process.
